Terms of Service

The Halal Stock Screener is provided solely for general informational and educational purposes. The App applies publicly documented Islamic finance screening criteria to publicly available financial data and presents the results as a reference tool.

The App does not:

• —Constitute financial advice, investment advice, trading advice, or any other form of professional advice
• —Constitute a fatwa, religious ruling, or Islamic scholarly opinion
• —Recommend or endorse any specific security, investment product, or financial instrument
• —Guarantee the Shariah compliance, halal status, or ethical standing of any company or stock
• —Predict or project future investment performance or returns

Nothing in the App or its outputs should be construed as a solicitation, promotion, or offer to buy or sell any security or financial instrument.

The App is not operated by a registered investment advisor, broker-dealer, financial planner, or any other licensed financial professional under applicable law, including but not limited to the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 or equivalent regulations in other jurisdictions. No fiduciary relationship is created between you and the App or its operators by your use of this Service.

The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated under the supervision of AAOIFI, S&P Global, FTSE Russell, or any Islamic scholarly body, Shariah supervisory board, or religious authority. Screening criteria are derived solely from publicly available AAOIFI, FTSE Yasaar, and S&P Shariah methodology documents. Screening results reflect a rules-based algorithmic interpretation of those documents only.

The question of whether a particular investment is permissible (halal) or impermissible (haram) under Islamic law is a personal matter that requires consultation with a qualified Islamic finance scholar. Always seek a qualified scholar's guidance before acting on any screening result.

Financial data used by the App is sourced from Yahoo Finance and other publicly available sources. We make no representations or warranties as to the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any data, screening result, or output generated by the App.

Data may be:

• —Delayed, incomplete, or subject to error
• —Based on reported figures that may not reflect actual business activities
• —Insufficient to capture subsidiary revenues, off-balance-sheet items, or segment-level data relevant to halal screening

Screening results are a starting point for further research — not a final determination.

A "Potentially Halal" result does not mean the screened company is certified as Shariah-compliant. A "Needs Review" or "Avoid" result does not mean the company is definitively impermissible. Compliance status can change based on updated financial data, business changes, or evolving scholarly interpretations. You are solely responsible for verifying the current status of any investment before acting.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App and its operators, contributors, affiliates, and licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• —Your use of or reliance on any screening result, data, or content provided by the App
• —Any investment decision made based on information obtained through the App
• —Any loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill
• —Any inaccuracy or omission in screening results

This limitation applies regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable and whether the App was advised of the possibility of such damages.

By using the App, you acknowledge and agree that:

• —You will not rely solely on this App's output when making investment decisions
• —You will conduct your own independent research and due diligence
• —You will consult a qualified financial advisor and/or Islamic finance scholar before investing
• —You are solely responsible for your investment decisions and their outcomes
• —You are using this App for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes unless otherwise agreed in writing

The App's code, design, and original content are the property of their respective authors. Screening methodologies referenced (AAOIFI, FTSE Yasaar, S&P Shariah, etc.) are the intellectual property of their respective owners. This App does not claim ownership of any third-party methodology.

The App relies on third-party data providers (including Yahoo Finance). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party services. References to AAOIFI, FTSE Yasaar, and S&P Shariah are for methodology attribution only and do not imply affiliation with or endorsement by those organizations.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document will reflect the most recent revision.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation or, if necessary, binding arbitration.
