Privacy Policy

If you create an account:

• —Email address: Required to create and identify your account.
• —Name: Only if provided via Google OAuth — we use whatever Google sends us.
• —Search history: The tickers you search, stored so we can enforce the free tier daily limit and show you your history.
• —Watchlist items: Tickers you explicitly save to your watchlist.
• —Subscription status: Whether you are on the free, Pro, or Teams plan. Stored in our database after a successful Stripe payment.
• —Terms acceptance timestamp: The date and time you agreed to our Terms of Service.

If you use the app without an account:

• —IP address: Used only to enforce the anonymous search limit (5 searches per day). Not linked to any personal identity.
• —Search history: Tickers searched, stored temporarily for rate limiting.

• ✕We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Payments are processed by Stripe — we only receive a confirmation that payment succeeded and your subscription tier.
• ✕We do not collect your portfolio holdings, brokerage account details, or investment amounts.
• ✕We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
• ✕We do not use third-party advertising trackers or pixels.

• —To provide the service: Authenticate your account, enforce search limits, display your watchlist and search history.
• —To process payments: Pass your email to Stripe when you upgrade to Pro or Teams. Stripe handles all payment processing under their own privacy policy.
• —To send compliance alerts: (Pro tier only) Email you when a stock on your watchlist changes compliance status. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• —To improve the product: Aggregate, anonymized search trends (e.g. which tickers are searched most) may be used to improve data quality and prioritize features. This data is never linked back to individual users.

We use a small number of third-party services to operate the App:

• —Account data is retained as long as your account exists.
• —Anonymous search history (IP-based) is retained for 30 days, then deleted.
• —If you delete your account, your personal data is deleted within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymized search records may be retained.

You have the right to:

• —Access the data we hold about you
• —Request correction of inaccurate data
• —Request deletion of your account and associated data
• —Export your watchlist and search history
• —Opt out of compliance alert emails at any time

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies. No cookie consent banner is required because we only use strictly necessary cookies.

This App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, notify registered users by email. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
